Learning Opportunities
Offering transformative learning opportunities
Through its support for Indigenous Language Fluency degrees and graduate training programs, the Interior Salishan Studies Centre (ISSC) creates space for Indigenous-led teaching, interdisciplinary research, and community collaboration.
The Centre promotes a place-based, community-driven approach that prioritizes Indigenous methodologies, language immersion, and cultural renewal.
As a platform for meaningful engagement, the ISSC empowers learners to develop deep relationships with Indigenous knowledge systems while contributing to the recovery and preservation of critically endangered Interior Salishan languages.
